Hello to you!
I don't know about you, but it feels like absolutely AGES since i've made a blog post! Seeing as we're almost at the end of April now (where has the time gone?!), I thought it was about time to do a favourites post. This will not be your regular beauty favourites post though! I will be including the following things:
Beauty
Skincare
Songs
Youtubers (beauty/non beauty)
App
Food
So I hope you enjoy reading, and let's get started!
Beauty:
My favourite product this month has to be Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner - I love using eyeliner, but I can never use the normal liquid-y ones so the felt tip liners are great for me! This is great quality for such a cheap price! Buy HERE.
Skincare:
Normally I would opt for a moisturiser or something like that for skincare, but this month it is definitely Nivea Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes! It's basically a fancy name for makeup wipes, but I really like them because it is double sided - one side is for removing makeup, the other side is for cleansing and toning your skin. I love it! Buy HERE.
Song:
My favourite song this month has been 'Stay Out' by Nina Nesbitt. I love Nina Nesbitt, and this song is on her newest album and it's so catchy! Listen to it HERE.
Youtubers:
Beauty - Of course, it would have to be lovely Louise from Sprinkle Of Glitter. I love Louise as she is always so positive and cheery about everything, and she is beautiful! I have also been loving JLovesMac1, as she is absolutely hilarious but brilliant at the same time.
Non-Beauty - Apart from Danisnotonfire and Amazingphil, recently I have been loving Tyler Oakley all over again! He is absolutely adorable, and if you follow me on my tumblr then you will know that he has actually liked 3 of my posts! *proud*
App:
So this month I downloaded snapchat. I got it a few months ago but didn't know how to work it so I deleted it. Everyone seems to have snapchat now, so I joined the crowd and re-installed it! If you have it, leave your name below and i'll add you :)
Food:
Some of you guys already know that I am a pescetarian, but I still eat a lot of food! It doesn't really limit my diet that dramatically, which is really good because you know...I love food. apart from my favourite dish of all time, this month I have been loving vegetarian spaghetti bolognese with cheese and mayonnaise! That may sound really gross, but trust me. It's delicious.
So that's all for today, I hope you enjoyed reading! Let me know what your April Favourites are in the comments, or make a post about it yourself! I would love to read about what you've been loving this month.

Building Confidence
Hello to you!
Today I am going to be writing a very different sort of post. I’m a bit
nervous about posting it and I hope it doesn’t sound too cheesy, but some of
you could find it useful.
Quite a while back, I saw Sprinkleofglitter’s video about being body
confident. I was really glad I watched it, I’ll leave a link to the video at
the end so you can see it if you haven’t already. I started thinking a lot
about what she said, and a lot of teen girls can relate to it. When I started
secondary school, I would say I was pretty confident. (Maybe a bit
over-confident, I was very loud!) Now I’m in year 10, and I am definitely nowhere
near as confident as I used to be! I think everyone struggles with self esteem,
and watching Louise’s video definitely helped a lot. Earlier on today, I was
thinking about the video again and I decided to write a blog post about it
because I thought of a few possible tips of my own! They are still very similar
to what Louise said, but hopefully this will help you as well as watching the
video.
If you are a person who suffers with low self esteem, start by categorizing yourself into 3 parts. I know that sounds really weird, but you’ll
see what I mean in a second. The first part is things that you like about
yourself, the second part is things you don’t like but could change, and the
third part is things you can’t change.
Part 1: Even though practically no-one likes everything about
themselves, list all your good features. You can even includes your
characteristics, because a lot of self-esteem issues are actually just in your
mind as it’s the way you see yourself. If you are sat there thinking ‘I don’t
like anything about myself’, I’m sure that’s not true! J There must be some things you like about yourself
more than others. This list is the good list. When you’re having a bad day,
just remember the things that are good about you, whether it’s your personality
or appearance. I know everyone gets those days where they feel like everything
is going wrong, but try to think of at least 3 good things so you are feeling
slightly more positive.
Part 2: These are the things that you don’t really like about yourself
but you could change. For instance, I used to hate my eyebrows but obviously
there are different ways you can shape them or change them to a way you like! I
haven’t really changed my eyebrows that much, but now I like them a lot more
than I used to. Also, some things that you CAN’T change like your facial
structure can be enhanced by contouring and makeup. And remember, whatever you
don’t like about yourself – it is probably nowhere near as bad as you think, (but
if you see it as one of your flaws then you will emphasise it in your mind) –
other people do not see you in the same way you see yourself!
Part 3: If there are things that you don’t like about yourself but you
can’t change, you’ll need to learn to accept it. I know you’re probably
thinking “it’s easy to say just accept it but it’s harder to put those words
into actions,” I know what you mean. But those things that you don’t like about
yourself, someone else could find them your best features! And if you are struggling
to accept some of those things – just remember, what you see as the ‘flaws’ are
the things that make you unique and so you should embrace those things.
And those are the 3 main steps! Whenever you look at yourself and think “hmm,
I don’t like my nose/teeth/arms/whatever…” just think of the things that you DO
like about yourself, and remember that you are unique and great just the way
you are! (Oh lord, it’s getting so cheesy now…I will regret writing this post soon) You wouldn’t be the same person
you are without your flaws, so don’t stress over them.
The last thing I have to say about building confidence/self esteem today
is *drum roll – get ready, it’s going to get really deep now*: Even though you
can change some about you on the surface, the most important thing is that you
change the way about how you think about yourself – being confident isn’t a bad
thing at all! If you feel more confident wearing makeup and it makes you happy,
do it. If wearing a gorilla suit while dancing to swan lake makes you happy, DO
IT! If you can do something that makes you feel more confident and happy about
yourself, then I urge you to go for it.
Thanks so much for reading, I hope some of these tips were useful to
you! And I hope you didn’t find the cheesiness overboard! In the comments, let
me know your 3 things. Of course, only do it if you feel comfortable saying it!
I hope this can help you a bit J if any of you
want any more advice on building confidence or anything else in general, my
blog email address is lottie.loora@gmail.com
and I’ll try to help as much as I can J once again,
thanks for reading! Please let me know if you liked this post in the comments, maybe I might do a few more 'deep' posts about other things in the future. I’ll link Louise’s video below:

Repurchased Beauty Products
Hello to you!
2 blog posts in one day?! What is this madness?!
I feel like I have been neglecting my blog recently, so I am going to make up for it :) i'm going to be writing about the products that I have repurchased before/will be repurchasing because I love them! I got the idea for this post from Sian, she has a great blog and you should check it out! I saw she did a post on this a while ago so I have decided to do the same. I will link all the products I have mentioned so you can check them out if you like the sound of them!

I will link all the products I have mentioned so you can check them out if you like the sound of them!
Soap &
Glory Glam-A-Lot Body Spray
I l-o-v-e Soap & Glory, and this body spray smells so amazing! The packet is really cool, the bottle itself looks a bit dissapointing but it is so lovely! It smells floral & fruity with a really nice musky undertone to it. I wear this every day, it smells incredible! It doesn't last all day, but it lasts longer than most body sprays. You can buy it HERE!
Simple Clear Skin Oil
Balancing Moisturiser
I've had this moisturiser for a while now, and I really love it! You don't need to apply a lot and it isn't messy at all. It so quick to apply and it works really well! It makes your skin feel very soft and hydrated. I love this! You can buy it HERE.
Carex Hand
Sanitizer
I always keep hand sanitizer with me because you'll never know when you'll need it! It is perfect for keeping in your bag in school, or even bring it with you in a coat pocket at festivals! This hand sanitizer smells really fresh but not too strong. It's really nice because it isn't all gooey and gross like some hand sanitizers! It's a really good price too, buy it HERE.
St Ives
Exfoliating Scrub
I have definitely mentioned this in a few blog posts already. This exfoliator is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! It has a lot more exfoliating beads than a normal exfoliator, so you don't need a lot of it. (If you have ultra sensitive skin you might want to be a bit careful with this, but it should be fine!) It makes your face feel so soft, and also I have found it gets rid of blackheads on your nose really well! Even though it is a face exfoliator, someone mentioned in a beauty video that they use it for exfoliating their legs as well because there are so many exfoliating beads. I have not tested this out yet because I only have the travel sized tube, but when I buy the full size tube I will have to test that theory! Buy it HERE :)
Organix
Brazilian Keratin Therapy Anti-Breakage Serum
I have been using this serum quite a lot recently, and I can really feel the difference on my hair after i've used it. I bleach my hair (not a good idea, don't do it), so I can get quite a lot of split ends which isn't very nice! This serum helps strengthen your hair, and it makes it feel a lot softer too. I really like this serum because it is low-fuss and easy to do. I'm never really that bohered about hair products, but this one I really like. Buy it HERE!
Soap &
Glory Rich and Foamous
I adore Soap & Glory's shower gel range, but this one is definitely my favourite by far! I love the name of it, and it smells so nice. It is made with almonds, honey milks and oat extracts - to be honest, none of those things sound very nice but oh my lordy loo la it smells like rainbows on toast! I love using this, and for only £6.50 I think it's amazing value. I can't rave about this product enough! Buy this amazing thing HERE!!!
Thanks for reading, I will probably do a makeup repurchased list in the future! I hope you liked this post and it gave you some ideas on what you might want to buy. What is your favourite thing to repurchase? Let me know in the comments!

Makeup & Tools Wishlist
Hello to you!
So recently I have been looking at lots of different beauty products online. To remember them, I write them into my notes on my phone! Gradually the list started building, so I thought I would make a post about it! Some of the stuff is slightly more expensive or difficult to find, so I put it in the list so I can remember to buy it online later on. Most of the things on the list are just reminders to buy when i'm in town! Anyway, here it is so far:
Makeup:
Urban Decay 'Naked' Palette
Urban Decay 'Naked' Palette 2
NARS Eyeshadow Palette
MAC Blusher
Soap & Glory 'Lid Stuff' Eyeshadow
Maybelline Falsies Mascara
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
Kate Moss Lipstick
Topshop Lipstick
Topshop Nail Polish
Tools:
Tangle Teezer
Real Techniques Kabuki Brush
Real Techniques Concealer Brush
Real Techniques Eyeshadow Brush
Eyelash Curlers
So that's it for now really! The list will probably get longer, and I will do an updated post once I have bought some of these things. I know not all of them are specific, but you get a general idea! What's on your beauty wishlist? Do you have any of these things already? Let me know in the comments!

I'm back!
Hello to you! :)
So as some of you know, I have been reeeeaaally busy in the past few weeks with rehearsals and such... the show was yesterday and it went really well! I've had such a wonderful time with everyone and I've made so many amazing friends this year. Although it was hard work, it was brilliant and I hope to do it again next year. I saw everyone today which was great, but it also means my blogging is back to normal now! So i'll be updating as usual, and now my posts will hopefully be a bit more detailed as I can spend more time on then.
I will write a post all about DYT with pictures and all later on if you're interested to see what I did!
But is there anything you guys want to see me write? Or do you want any products to be reviewed? Let me know in the comments if there is anything, and i'll try to do it soon! :)

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Review
Hello to you!
So as you can probably guess from the title, today I'll be reviewing Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. This was requested by Sian, Before I start this review, I just wanna mention that I have not included pictures yet but I will edit this post properly next week when I have the time so you can see what this foundation looks like properly. If you really want to look, it is in my last Superdrug haul post so you can read that if you like :) let's begin!
I don't really wear foundation that often because my skin is normally ok, but sometimes I get really flushed cheeks which I hate so I wear foundation when my skin isn't looking too good. I bought Rimmel Match Perfection in 100 Ivory, which I think is the second lightest colour? I'll do swatches and photos soon! This foundation gives a light-medium coverage and it feels really light on your skin. I wouldn't recommend this if you need a slightly heavier coverage, but for me it works really well!
It's rather watery/liquidy, so I would not suggest using one whole pump for your face because it will go everywhere. I use about half a pump because you really don't need too much. I use a foundation brush to blend it in, and it works quite well but if you don't blend it in properly then it will go a bit flaky and make your skin look dry!
When I used it, my skin looked quite dewy but not shiny - I used a Collection 2000 Powder just to set the foundation. It stayed on quite well throughout the day, and it doesn't make your skin feel horrible like some foundations do. (Also it doesn't melt off your face if you get too hot, I wore it while rehearsing in a theatre space with studio lights - I was impressed at how well it lasted!)
There is quite a good range of shades to choose from so if you pick the right shade it will match your skintone really well. For only £6.99, I think it's really nice and i'll definitely be repurchasing it! (The bottle is a good size and you don't need to use much for a nice coverage so it should last a good few months.)
Obviously this is just my opinion on the foundation, it may not work for some people as well as others! Thanks for reading, I hope this has helped you find out a bit more about this foundation. If you want me to review any other products, let me know in the comments and i'll see what I can do! :)
