Hello to you!

So today i'm on the way to Norwich to see some of my cousins. It is a 6 hour journey, and I have been vlogging so I decided to do a quick blog post! I might do a 'Travel Essentials' post tomorrow as I have brought a lot of travel sized beauty products with me...woops! I'm back!

Hello to you! :)

So as some of you know, I have been reeeeaaally busy in the past few weeks with rehearsals and such... the show was yesterday and it went really well! I've had such a wonderful time with everyone and I've made so many amazing friends this year. Although it was hard work, it was brilliant and I hope to do it again next year. I saw everyone today which was great, but it also means my blogging is back to normal now! So i'll be updating as usual, and now my posts will hopefully be a bit more detailed as I can spend more time on then.

I will write a post all about DYT with pictures and all later on if you're interested to see what I did!

But is there anything you guys want to see me write? Or do you want any products to be reviewed? Let me know in the comments if there is anything, and i'll try to do it soon! :)

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Review

So as you can probably guess from the title, today I'll be reviewing Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. This was requested by Sian, Before I start this review, I just wanna mention that I have not included pictures yet but I will edit this post properly next week when I have the time so you can see what this foundation looks like properly. If you really want to look, it is in my last Superdrug haul post so you can read that if you like :) let's begin!

I don't really wear foundation that often because my skin is normally ok, but sometimes I get really flushed cheeks which I hate so I wear foundation when my skin isn't looking too good. I bought Rimmel Match Perfection in 100 Ivory, which I think is the second lightest colour? I'll do swatches and photos soon! This foundation gives a light-medium coverage and it feels really light on your skin. I wouldn't recommend this if you need a slightly heavier coverage, but for me it works really well!

It's rather watery/liquidy, so I would not suggest using one whole pump for your face because it will go everywhere. I use about half a pump because you really don't need too much. I use a foundation brush to blend it in, and it works quite well but if you don't blend it in properly then it will go a bit flaky and make your skin look dry!

When I used it, my skin looked quite dewy but not shiny - I used a Collection 2000 Powder just to set the foundation. It stayed on quite well throughout the day, and it doesn't make your skin feel horrible like some foundations do. (Also it doesn't melt off your face if you get too hot, I wore it while rehearsing in a theatre space with studio lights - I was impressed at how well it lasted!)

There is quite a good range of shades to choose from so if you pick the right shade it will match your skintone really well. For only £6.99, I think it's really nice and i'll definitely be repurchasing it! (The bottle is a good size and you don't need to use much for a nice coverage so it should last a good few months.)

Obviously this is just my opinion on the foundation, it may not work for some people as well as others! Thanks for reading, I hope this has helped you find out a bit more about this foundation. If you want me to review any other products, let me know in the comments and i'll see what I can do! :)

Superdrug Skin Makeup Haul

Long time no speak! Well, it hasn't really been that long. Hope you're all having a good easter holiday! Yesterday I realized I needed some more makeup, so I went to superdrug. This is a bit like the £20 makeup challenge as I only had about £21 on me! Here's what I bought:

- Miss Sporty 'Morning Baby' BB Cream in 001 Nude Radiance, £3.49

- Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 100 Ivory, SPF 18, £6.99

- Collection 2000 Pressed Powder in 100 Ivory, £1.99 (Bargain price! Until it breaks into a million pieces...you get what you pay for I suppose)

- Collection 2000 Blush in 02 Bashful, £2.99

- Miss Sporty So Clear Coverstick in 01, £1.99 (I wanted a cheap concealer stick for travelling because you don't need a brush and it's really quick to apply)

- Superdrug Own Blush Brush, £2.99 (Ok I will admit it was like the cheapest brush there, but I didn't have much money with me and superdrug brushes are surprisingly good!)

So that's all I bought this time round, ince I fill up my makeup drawer i'll post a
video on makeup collection and storage. Very soon me and my brother will he doing a 'brother does my makeup challenge' 2! We did one before but we didn't have much makeup there and I didn't edit the video at all, so hopefully this time it will be better. Yay makeup!

Schtuff - Motivation!

Hello to you!

So basically I've spent the last half an hour writing a post called 'Blog My Life'. It was going to be a really long post about my life, but I deleted it because it was more like a diary and I didn't want to feel weird about posting it. So instead, I thought I would just do a quick post catching you up on my life
...and stuff...

Basically I have been ill this week, so yesterday I stayed home from school. This gave me a great opportunity to sit on loads of makeup websites, just staring at all the products. It's very therapeutic! I planned on how I could build up my makeup collection, so after I fill up my makeup drawers completely I will do a beauty video on my youtube channel about it. Even though I try to post about beauty on here, my youtube is very different! I will try and make the 2 collide and make a mix of posts and videos to keep it interesting! Anyway, since i've been ill there isn't really much to update on so I thought I would put together some motivational pictures for you to save from here. Sorry this is a boring post, enjoy the motivation below! Hopefully i'll be up and posting normally in a few weeks!

So all I have left to say is...if you have anything you need to do write now, whether that be writing a blog post, doing homework, doing regular work, e-mailing back a relative, or anything...JUST DO IT! Don't make an excuse for why you should do it later, take the opportunity to do it now so it's one less thing you have to do another day!
