Pink Hair & Piercings!

Hello to you!

Soooo some of you guys know that Ilike to be quite adventurous with my hair...well, it's slightly different! As you can see in the pictures below, I have dyed it pink. This is semi-permanent as my school would kill me if I kept this in, but after I go on study leave I am going to probably dye it pink/purple permanently! The second photo has a filter on it so the colours are all slightly different, but you get the idea. Also, I got my second lobes done! I love piercings and I finally convinced my mum to let me get them done - on a scale from 1 to 5, I would say the pain was only 1! 2 at the very most. It was like a pinch, and it stung for an hour or two but after that it was fine! I'm taking good care of them now, and I am looking forward to getting a few more piercings in the future:P

I GOT PAID TODAY! I will be doing a Boots/Superdrug haul post VERY SOON. I'm a very happy bunny at the moment! Also, I may not have a post up in the next week because i'm going to a festival
in Norwich tomorrow so I won't have much time to blog! I'll try to get the haul post up in the next 2 weeks or sooner.

Thanks for reading! Hope you like my new hair, let me know what you think of it in the comments! Have a lovely week everyone :)

Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival!

Hello to you!

So if you guys have been reading my blog recently, you will know that I went to the Toldpuddle Martyrs Festival last weekend. I had a really great time, and I thought I would share some of the pictures with you! :)

Me, Mabel, Avi

This was in the evening - we make a great acrobatic troupe apparently!

Trying not to fall over...

A human pyramid! I wanted to go on the top, but Mabel's cousin Luke is only 9 years old and I don't think he would be strong enough to take my weight!

Performing and entertaining runs in my family...as you can clearly see here! Jumping in the limelight! (Well, actually i'm jumping on James and Mabel but it's pretty much the same)

Me and Avi trying not to fall over like we did 5 minutes after arriving...there are a lot of balancing pictures here aren't there?!

Regaining balance...

Yes that is my natural hair colour, I know my roots are shocking and it was pretty windy so my hair was blowing everywhere! I love Mabel's dress here :)

I really like this picture, it is like a silhouette! We were playing a game of catch with a twist!

...I may have gotten a little enthusiastic while posing...

ACTION SHOT

We went to see a band that Avi wanted to watch called "The Skints" and they were a lot better than I was expecting! They really got the crowd going which was cool, I remember is was VERY LOUD! We all look rather tired here as it was past midnight and we had been up all day. Also my top really annoys me in the picture because you can see my other one underneath, it got cold really quickly at night so I brought the grey top as a jumper! They were nice though :)

This was us again but with the woman, her name was Marcia I think! She was really lovely except there was a really pushy woman who kept trying to speak to her (to be honest, this pushy woman was chatting her up...we just wanted a picture!) So we couldn't have a proper conversation with her but she was lovely. Wish we got the chance to speak to her a bit more really, but it was clear that the rude woman wasn't going to let that happen! Oh well. We met the others as well, but we didn't have a chance to get a picture with them!

I had a great weekend, wish I had taken more pictures though! I had to preserve my phone's battery so it was very difficult. I had a great time though! Hopefully we might go again next year! :D Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed hearing about my weekend!

OOTD - Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival

Hello to you!

So you guys already know that I spent this weekend at the Toldpuddle Martyrs Festival which was great! Blog post about that will be coming up later tonight or tomorrow. Anyway, thought I would share with you my day 1 OOTD!

Am I the only one who finds it really annoying that the patterns on tights never go all the way up? Grrr!

Top - Republic/USC
Necklace - Urban Outfitters
Shorts - H&M
Tights - "Borrowed" them from my cousin, who bought them from New Zealand!

I have had this necklace for ages now - love it! Must go back and buy some more necklaces from Urban Outfitters, their jewellery section is great!

Short Shorts.

Will probably be doing a clothing haul soon, will take lots of pictures and might even film a haul video too if you guys wanna see that! Thanks for reading :)

100th Post!

Hello to you!

So this is my 100th post on this blog! :O wow, feels like I wrote my first post only a few days ago! I know I don't have many followers, but I appreciate every single one of you and everyone else who stops to read my blog posts. This is only one of my hobbies but I have become friends with some people through this, and it has definitely been worthwhile! :) I will definitely continue to write my blog posts as I have a lot of fun with it, but I may spread out a bit more and start writing blog posts about current issues or things I have stronger opinions on - what do you guys think? I'll give it a try! I enjoy writing a lot, and I am looking at some English A-Level courses I might want to take, and a journalism course on the side as well maybe - this blog will definitely help with my writing skills!

Anyway, this was just a quick post to say thankyou for everyone who has read and enjoyed my blog and I really appreciate everyone who has followed me too! Here's to another 100 blog posts! :D

Life Updates!

Hello to you!

So I feel recently my blog has become a lot more lifestyle and less beauty/fashion related. I am sorry about this, but I will have some big beauty and fashion related posts up soon! Keep reading to see why :)

Although I love writing fashion and beauty posts, I love love love writing lifestyle posts. I'm not quite sure why, but I think it is because I like to share parts of my life with people i've never even met before! I am very much an "internet" type of person, and I spend a lot of my life online so I feel that I should share my life on here as well. Anyway, I only thought it was fair to update you guys on my life a bit as things seem to be happening all the time!

1. So it's now the summer holidays, and I spent this weekend with 2 of my best friends Avi and Mabel at the Tolpuddle Martyrs festival. I didn't take many pictures because I needed to save my phone's battery, but I did do an OOTD while I was there! (Do you guys wanna see a post about my weekend at the festival? Don't know whether I should do one or not!) Anyway, i'll try to upload the OOTD in the next few days to make up for my lack of fashion posts. Tolpuddle Martyrs has a hell of a lot of union parties, so today before we left, we all went round collecting loads of free stuff from the stalls! I literally came away with a MASSIVE bag of stuff. It was crazy!

2. I have finished year 10! This may seem obvious as the summer holidays have started, but I can't BELIEVE I am in my last year of high school. I feel like I was only in year 7 a few months ago! It's crazy how much has happened in the past few years. Wish me luck with my next year of non-stop exams! *Sob*

3. I am mid-way through moving! This is very difficult to explain and it would take more than one long blog post to go through my life story, but let me some it up: my parents split up a few years ago and my mum moved down the road and my dad now owns our current house and is also moving to a neighbouring city. Mum is going to buy dad out of the house and move back in and yay, everything will finally be settled! (I still don't think this is going to happen to be honest). Mum now has her finances ready and now all they have to do is value the house and hopefully things will go to plan. (Knowing my parents, things will not go to plan and shit will go down but oh well) HOPEFULLY by the end of the year, everyone will have moved back into the right houses and things will be settled! This is very very very unlikely but apparently it will happen soon, so I thought I would let you guys know.

4. I HAVE A JOB! (Sort of). Okay, let me explain. At school in our maths lessons, for a while we have been testing this maths app designed by Sparx for iPads. Now they are offering loads of people from our school a summer job as a Sparx Test Pilot. There are 6 weeks running, and I am going to be doing Week 1, 4, 5 and 6. We get paid £70 a week plus bonuses, so by the end I will have around £300 in my bank account! This is where the good part comes in. I CAN GO SHOPPING! I'm not going to spend all the money in one go, but I will definitely be buying a lot of makeup and clothes. I will be doing lots of haul posts, and i'll review some of the products too! I may even make a few haul videos to put on my channel if you want to see that.

So this post was a little rambly, but I just wanted to keep you guys up to date with what is going on in my life! Hope you're looking forward to the upcoming beauty and fashion posts, please follow me on bloglovin if you haven't already! Thanks for reading :)

My camping weekend!

Hello to you!

So this weekend, I went camping with my best friends for Mabel's birthday. It was so fun, and we got some good picture so I thought i'd tell you about it! I know this isn't really a beauty/fashion related post but it's nice to include you guys in my life too. :)

(These pictures are not in chronological order - they are a little jumbled!)

I love this picture, we all look rather silly but I think it captured a really nice summery moment!
(Left to right - Emily, Faye, Me, Kayleigh, Mabel, Jule, Ellen)

There were hundreds of bubbles - it was so fun!

This picture looks quite hipster, but I quite like it! Let me tell you about our little "adventure"...we were going to drive down to the beach as the weather was gorgeous, and as we were on our way down (in 2 separate cars), me and a friend noticed that the car was smelling a bit weird. We didn't really know what it was, but suddenly the smell got really strong and we were like "THE CAR IS ON FIRE GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!!! It was a very dramatic moment. We stopped the car and jumped out, and we were right - smoke was coming out of the bonnet above the front brakes. Later on we found out that the AA comes out 3 times a week rescuing cars from the hill we were driving down because it was so steep! As we didn't have a car, we had to walk a mile down to the beach. This was NOT FUN as I was wearing a pair of sandals/wedges and I was only wearing them because I thought we would park by the beach and then all sit down and have a nice time! I WAS OH SO WRONG. Turns out we were at a very rocky/pebbly beach, and the tide was out so it took us probably around half an hour to get down! I couldn't go down with my shoes on so Faye had to give me a piggyback. This ended with her falling over with me still on her back, and I accidentally hit her in the face with the heel of my shoes. Oh dear. By the time we FINALLY got down to the shore, we realized the water was really gross so guess what we did next? That's right. We had to walk aaallllll the way back up again. By this point my feet were aching, Kayleigh's foot was bleeding and Faye had lost her headphones. We had to try and keep our spirits up by listening to music while walking back! Luckily the AA had fixed the flaming car by the time we got back, and we could finally go back and relax. It was a very dramatic start to the weekend!

This picture was taken soon after we arrived - I don't know why but I look really weird in this picture! Everyone was taking loads of pictures and I was just shouting 'LET ME PUT MASCARA ON FIRST!' ...I didn't have a chance to put mascara on for this picture. Shout out to Mabel for being the creepiest person in this picture.

We were camping right next to a river which was great at the weather was crazy hot, but it also meant we were surrounded by midges the whole time. I ended up with so many bites all over my legs! This is an action-shot picture of me on the swing that we found there - it was very fun, there was also a handmade trapeze which I found very entertaining to mess about on too!

Jule, me and Thea. Yes I really am short, but Jule is quite tall so I'm not a complete midget!

Award for me for looking at the wrong camera. My back looks really arched in this picture! This was one of the nicer pictures of me and Kayleigh. We normally end up pulling horrible faces, and this was the best we could do! I still didn't have any makeup on at this point. *sigh*

THERE ARE SO MANY PICTURES OF ME WITHOUT MAKEUP! This is a picture of me and Emily by the back of the car - I think we were stood here so we could avoid putting the tent up! I've been going to festivals and such my whole life, but I still don't know how to pitch a tent properly.

This camping trip was the first time I had worn shorts without tights, so I was rather proud! This picture looks a little bit blurry which is a shame, and there was a better version of this picture and all of us but I can't find it! Jule, me, Mabel, Kayleigh and Thea. We all look so summery!

It didn't take very long for all of us to collapse in a heap. It was really really hot, so we were all feeling tired! This was before the beach disaster. If only we knew what was coming.

Jule took this picture with her AMAZING camera while I was left with the tent! I didn't know what to do so I just stood there holding the stick in the ground, hoping for the best. I really like this picture, I think it captured the moment really well! When the wind started blowing and the stick started moving out of place, I let go and ran away to the river because I thought the stick would fly upwards and hit me which I was not looking forward to. It was probably best that I stayed out of the way really!

Thea looking oh so graceful here. As you can probably see, this was an action shot! I looked up to see a camera being pointed at me just in time. Unfortunately for Thea, she waited a little too long to look up. Sorry Thea!

So this picture basically sums up me and Kayleigh's friendship. Although we drift apart now and then, when we are together we can't stop being weird! I would be lying if I said this weekend didn't involve me and her  sneaking into a field of sheep to try and sunbathe with them. I won't speak anymore about that field as it was a very funny but strange thing to do! The sheep ran away quite a lot which was disappointing for us. Love you Kayleigh bby!

I figured I would end this post with this picture as I think it is such a pretty photo. Jule took this while I was looking at the field, and I think the flower crown looks so nice! I am also glad that you can't see my roots too badly in this ;) I thought it would be a nice picture to end this post on!

So I hope you enjoyed reading a little bit about my camping weekend, I had a great time with all my best friends and I hope to do it again next year! Only thing I would change for next time - bring bug repellent! Apart from that, it was brilliant. Happy birthday Mabel! I hope you had a really good time too, we all did :)
Thanks for reading! I will be posting a few more festival related posts over the summer holiday as I will be at quite a few festivals! (Tolpuddle Martyrs, Dance Camp in Norich, Play festival in Wales, and Bristol Juggling Convention - if you will be at any of these then let me know, or come and say hi if we bump into each other! Also next year I will be going to Bestival with Faye so let me know if you might be going to that!)

I have a few post ideas that I need to plan and I am currently changing little bits of my blog here and there, so hopefully you will like all the new stuff i'll be posting! Also i'll be doing a very special post soon as I have almost written 100 blog posts on here, woooow! A lot of these will have been daily glittersnaps but it only feels like I started my blog a few months ago! Don't forget to follow me on bloglovin HERE if you don't already :) are you guys doing anything interesting over the holidays? Let me know in the comments!

Birthday Haul - My Friend's Presents! (Boots/Lush)

Hello to you!

So recently 2 of my friends had their birthdays, only 3 days apart so I had to do a little shopping. I've been saving this post because I know they read my blog so I couldn't risk them seeing the presents on here first!

So first of all I went into Lush, and I went in there with 2 of my brothers friends as I was supposed to be meeting my friend Kayleigh, but she ran late! I must say I have fallen in love with some of these Lush products. Will definitely be going into the shop more often!

The flowery ones are called "Think Pink" and the one in the middle is called "Dragon's Egg" - smells so lovely and citrus-y, I was quite sad to give it away as I wanted to keep it for myself!

Next we went to boots, and I was really happy with what I bought for them! Although the chocolate did melt, if you live in the UK you will know we have been having a heatwave recently!

(Left to right: Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 111 -  Kiss Of Life, Rimmel I <3 Lasting Finish Nail Polishes, Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner, Boots Own Hair Grips, Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry, Polos, Dairy Milk Giant Buttons)

So these are the things from Boots that I gave to Mabel - she loves nail polishes so I thought I would get her another one to add to her collection, she is always losing hair grips so these seemed like a good practical present she needed, she is currently OBSESSED with Carmex products! And the polos were a very personal present for her which has been a running joke for about 7, possible 8 years now! Ah, memories.

So I hope you enjoyed this post, in the next few months I will probably be doing a LOT more haul type posts (make up and clothes) as I am going to be taking a job over the summer for 4 weeks which will make me £300 richer! I. Can't. WAIT! Thanks for reading :)

Hope you're looking forward to it, and it might give you some ideas of what to buy for your friends on their birthdays too :D

Monday Motivation!

Hello to you!

So Louise from Sprinkleofglitter is taking a little break from her blog so I decided I would create my own motivational monday. This will probably not become a regular thing, but here are some cute little pictures which you can save to look at when you feel down or anything! :)

[All pictures taken from Chibird]

This one I really love because this is so true! Some of my friends would rather go to the park or do something active whereas I am perfectly content to stay at home and stay on the internet too. Not everyone has the same interests, and people forget this sometimes!

Whenever someone says something negative about you (it happens, I know), just brush it off rather than think about it! If someone has actually wasted their time saying something nasty to you, they are clearly not worth any of your time. Pointless little comments don't matter, because they are exactly that - pointless. Don't let the negativity get you down, try to stay positive!

Even if you may not know a person in real life, it doesn't stop you from being friends with them! A lot of my friends don't understand my friendships with people online, but I believe a friend is someone you can trust, you can be happy or sad with them and they will be there for you! Recently I have become so close with some people online, and I skype them a lot too. *Disclaimer - I am not advising you should randomly try to become friends with people on the internet as pedos DO exist so be careful! Luckily my friends are not pedos, but make sure you stay safe and don't give anyone online personal details about yourself etc etc*

When you are in a bad mood, you may want to push away all your friends and family members but remember that they care for you and they won't be around forever! You should appreciate everyone who loves you, as sometimes they will be the only ones there for you.

Everyone has those days where they feel sad and they don't know why! It's fine to feel sad sometimes, and you don't have to always feel happy because that would be impossible! Try not to dwell on being sad for too long though, life's too short to be sad :)

As long as you are healthy, don't worry about your weight! Weight does not define beauty, and as long as you are happy with yourself, that is all that matters! I may do a longer blog post about this sometime, as it is a very modern issue. It doesn't matter if you're 6 stone or 16 stone, as long as you are healthy and happy there shouldn't be a problem! :)

So I know this post was different to my usual ones but I hope you enjoyed it nevertheless! I am going to try and update my blog 2-5 times a week, depending on how busy I am :) It will probably vary quite a bit, but I will always find time to write a quick blog post here and there if I'm too busy to write a long one! Thanks for reading :)
