Schtuff - Motivation!
Hello to you!
So basically I've spent the last half an hour writing a post called 'Blog My Life'. It was going to be a really long post about my life, but I deleted it because it was more like a diary and I didn't want to feel weird about posting it. So instead, I thought I would just do a quick post catching you up on my life
...and stuff...
Basically I have been ill this week, so yesterday I stayed home from school. This gave me a great opportunity to sit on loads of makeup websites, just staring at all the products. It's very therapeutic! I planned on how I could build up my makeup collection, so after I fill up my makeup drawers completely I will do a beauty video on my youtube channel about it. Even though I try to post about beauty on here, my youtube is very different! I will try and make the 2 collide and make a mix of posts and videos to keep it interesting! Anyway, since i've been ill there isn't really much to update on so I thought I would put together some motivational pictures for you to save from here. Sorry this is a boring post, enjoy the motivation below! Hopefully i'll be up and posting normally in a few weeks!
So all I have left to say is...if you have anything you need to do write now, whether that be writing a blog post, doing homework, doing regular work, e-mailing back a relative, or anything...JUST DO IT! Don't make an excuse for why you should do it later, take the opportunity to do it now so it's one less thing you have to do another day!

I've been busy...
Hello to you!
If you read my blog you'll know I try to post every few days. Unfortunately I have been so busy recently that I haven't posted in about 4 days? Don't worry, I haven't disappeared! I'll try my best to keep posting fairly regularly but maybe not so much in the next few weeks.
Some of the reasons why I can't post as regularly is because of revision, homework, drama rehearsals, etc. (The drama rehearsals i'll talk more about in another post, but basically our tech week is coming up and we'll be working for 8 hours days, sometimes more.
I will keep posting as much as I can, but maybe only 3 times a week instead of 4-5!
I'll try to be up and posting properly soon.

GCSE & Exam revision tips!
Hello to you!
As you may know, I am currently in year 10 therefore I am currently doing some of my GCSE's. In my school, we started some of our GCSE's last year - weird, I know. So far I have currently done exams and controlled assessments in English, French, Science, History, Art, Hospitality BTEC and Drama. (The reason I only have Hospitality at BTEC is because I did it last year and BTEC was the only option. Catering GCSE is available for people this year and I put it as my first choice, but it was a very popular choice so I am doing Art this year instead...i'm not very good at Art, but it has actually been quite good so far! Anyway, i'm going off topic very quickly. I'm going to give you some tips for mostly 5 core lessons.
English
Now in English, you tend to write essays and controlled assessments. In my past exams I have gotten A's and A*'s, and i'm not quite sure how to be honest! All I can say is if you are allowed a plan (which you are in most essays/controlled assessments), make sure you only use the key things you will need as you cannot make it too detailed. In our school we use PEEE (take a moment to laugh at that), which stands for Point/Evidence/Explanation/Exploration. (*Your main point*...we know this because...this shows...this ALSO shows...etc etc.) Basically just try to make sure your plan is understandable to you! Also in the exam, make sure you make everything detailed and analyzed without going off subject too much. ALWAYS RELATE BACK TO THE QUESTION!
Science
With science, it's pretty straightforward. Make sure you think of key words and learn the definitions, use kerboodle, samlearning, BBC Bitesize...(sorry I realize these websites won't be very useful if you don't live in Britain). I watched a lot of science based youtube videos as they were like tutorials for learning about the specific subject you were stuck on! (I.E. osmosis, velocity and time graphs, organelles, etc) Keep flashcards for writing down equations, make booklets with each specific subject to a page...just write down as much info as you can!
French
For essays and assessments, this is easy. Learn it sentence by sentence. This may sound boring and ridiculously slow, but it works! Take each paragraph and break it down sentence by sentence, and highlight each part you find hard to remember. This means in the exam, you will be able to remember the words you keep forgetting and you will have slowly started to remember the order of sentences! If this doesn't work, think of what you say in English (obviously not long and complicated sentences, keep it simple) and write it down in French! Hey presto, better grades.
History
3 things for history. Structure your draft essay, back up every point with evidence, and always relate what you write back to the question. If you do this with your draft or plan, your grade will increase easily. Just remember, structure/evidence/relate back to question! If you keep that in your mind during the exam, you're sorted!
So I hope you found this useful! If there are any other lessons you need revision tips in, let me know in the comments and I will either update this post or write it up in the comments! Thanks for reading, hope this will help you with your exam revision, and good luck!

Hello to you!
So my best friend Mabel is taking iArt for her GCSE, and she chose me to be the model of her project. These are some of the pictures we took after school! She will be using photoshop and computer work as well as drawing and painting on these pictures, so i'm looking forward to the finished result :) she is also designing the header for my blog very soon!
Enjoy :)

FOTD - Friday!
Hello to you!
Today I actually woke up in good time for school, so rather than last-minute-dash-doing-mascara-in-the-car, I actually had some time to do my makeup!
I'm wearing a lot of what I bought yesterday so if you read my blog, you'll recognise some of the products.
- MUA Eyeshadow 'Heaven and Earth'
- Collection 2000 24 Hour Extreme Felt Tip Liner
- Collection 2000 Multiplier Mascara
- Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer (will do a review on this soon)
- Soap & Glory Love At First Blush
So that's all i'm wearing today, apologies for the bad pictures below - the sun still hasn't come up so the lighting isn't exactly the best! Thanks for reading :)

So I went to Superdrug today...
Hello to you!
Tomorrow is Red Nose Day, and one of my friends is letting me spray his hair gold tomorrow. Unfortunately me being the disorganised person I am, I only got round to buying the spray dye for him tonight! But of course, I went to Superdrug so buying spray dye doesn't stop there...I didn't have a load of money with me so I didn't buy loads of stuff, but here is a mini-haul of what I did buy:
Tomorrow is Red Nose Day, and one of my friends is letting me spray his hair gold tomorrow. But of course, I went to Superdrug so buying spray dye doesn't stop there...I didn't have a load of money with me so I didn't buy loads of stuff, but here is a mini-haul of what I did buy:
Left to Right: Superdrug own spray hair dye in blonde/gold, Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Eyeliner, MUA Heaven & Earth Eyeshadow Palette.
So I've heard so many people rave about how good this Lasting Perfection concealer is, so I thought I would try it for myself. Me being the failure at life that I am, I accidentally bought it in medium instead of light. Whoops! It still worked very well, and when I tested it out earlier it was really effective for me. It was quite a good price too, I bought it for about £5 I think! (Although next time I buy it i'll double check the shade of it first...)
Now this eyeliner is amazing, and recently I have been loving winged eyeliner so this is a must-have for me! As it's only £3.99, I have bought this eyeliner a few times before, but mine runs out quicker than most people's due to the amount of times I have drawn moustaches on myself while using it. It's really good as it stays on all day without smudging, but it's really easy to take off. LOVE this!
Now I have the MUA 'Glamour Days' Eyeshadow palette which I am a big fan of, and I know that Fleur De Force (her blog is HERE if you want to check it out) has been raving about it. It's only £4, so I thought why not! I love the colours because they are very neutral and quite muted. The texture of these eyeshadows is awesome, and they are so pigmented! I love all these shades because you can do different types of smokey eyes, or every day looks all with the same palette. I am really looking forward to trying this out!
(Can we just take a moment to appreciate my photo skills here - all pictures were taken on my iPhone 4s! I'm rather impressed.)
So I know I didn't buy that much, but I thought I would do a little update as I always get a bit over excited after buying makeup. Any excuse for a good old blog post! :) Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed seeing the new products I have bought. (What I have realized is a lot of big-time bloggers get paid for writing these so always buy more high-end makeup, but I quite like the fact that I use quite cheap makeup as you guys can see what a normal teenager without a job would buy and wear. What do you guys think? Do you prefer it?) Let me know if you have any makeup bargains that you like to buy, or if you want a review on any product on this post or any other posts so far!

E.L.F Favourites: Eyes
Hello to you!
So recently I have been snooping around on HERE...this is the E.L.F website, and ELF stands for Eyes Lips Face. Their products are fantastico, the products are all pretty good qualilty for an indredibly cheap price! As I am planning on buying a lot of their products soon, I thought I would give you some posts about the website just like I did with my Dolly Bow Bow review. (If you haven't read that already, you can read it HERE!) I will be doing more of my E.L.F favourites if you like them :) okay, so let's begin with my top 3 eye products!
Eyes:
Ok so believe me, it was very difficult to try to narrow all of the eye products into the top 3. I love eye products, and the ELF eye makeup is dirt cheap! It's my idea of heaven. So these are my top 3 eye products on the website:

So this is ELF's volumising mascara. It is only £2.50, and it looks very promising! Mascara is my one essential makeup product that I carry around with me EVERYWHERE, so I have very high hopes for this. It looks just like another high street product would, but for half the price. Can't wait to try this out!
This is ELF's Waterproof Eyeliner pen. I have heard many reviews on this and about 95% of them are positive! Recently I have started wearing this type of liquid eyeliner again, and I have loved it because it makes your eyes stand out so much more. This eyeliner pen is £1.50, so i'm a little wary of trying it because in some cases, you get what you pay for and if this is the case...I shouldn't have very high expectations! But from what I've heard, it's a very good eyeliner but some people found the tip a bit hard to use at first. It might be a bit of a hit or miss products, who knows!
This is ELF's Studio Eyebrow Kit for £3.75. Now I don't draw on my eyebrows or anything like that, but I think this eyebrow kit would be quite subtle so you can fill in any sparse gaps in your eyebrow. I have a scar that goes diagonally across my right eyebrow which is very annoying and difficult to cover up, so maybe this would solve those problems? Watch this space!
So thanks for reading, I'm sure you will be seeing a lot more of my E.L.F Favourites in the next few months! Soon I will be ordering a lot of their products which I will do a haul and review video and post on. Definitely check out the E.L.F website if you haven't already, there are some really great products for a bargain price!
(Soon I will probably be uploading some beauty videos to my youtube channel, LottieRa2197. Feel free to check it out! I'll make sure to let you know when those videos are going up!)

How to organise your desk!
Hello to you!
Today i'm going to be doing a post on how to organise your desk, especially if you are a messy person like me. Now the pictures aren't very good quality, but i'm sure you'll get the idea anyway. I would like to refer to my desk as an organised mess!
Today i'm going to be doing a post on how to organise your desk, especially if you are a messy person like me. Now the pictures aren't very good quality, but i'm sure you'll get the idea anyway. I would like to refer to my desk as an organised mess!
1. So this is a picture of my desk overall. It looks quite messy, but it is all organised, I swear!
2. Use a clear plastic box to store some of your beauty products in. Now this is quite a small box, so I have only kept the most frequently used in this. The products are:
- Clean & Clear Oil Free Moisturiser (prevents blemishes)
- New Look 'Just Pink' Body Moisturiser
- Brazilian Keratin Therapy Hair Serum
- The Body Shop White Musk Smooth Satin Body Lotion
(Now I also have a Soap&Glory Hand Sanitizer added to this mini collection!)
3. If you have any old teddies that you don't really know what to do with, sit them on the side of your desk so they're out of the way but still there to look at. :)
4. If you have any lids of boxes lying around, use them for storage! I have a round lid that I keep my festival type makeup in. This includes Fairy Dust, Barry M Dazzle Dust, Shimmer Blush and some glittery lipgloss :) I like this because it's separate from the rest of my makeup yet is still a nice feature on my desk!
5. Get a small jewellery holder to keep in all your earrings. Mine looks a bit messy at the moment but I have sorted them to make sure there are only earrings I wear in there :) Also, I keep my original packaging of some earrings (in this case, Claire's) so when you take your earrings with you, they won't get lost.
6. I keep my glass bottles of perfume at the side of my mirror because I use them quite a lot! (I also have a Betty Boop shimmer box in the picture which goes with my festival makeup but it's too big to fit in the box!)
7. Keep a box full of your makeup with your hair things beside it. I am currently using a box that my friend gave me for christmas so it's very colourful on my desk! If you keep your daily makeup in the box, it saves time in the morning searching for all your things!
8. This is said box. If you use any palettes for your makeup, put them at the bottom and keep the smaller things at the top!
Thanks for reading, hope you liked these pictures on my desk and maybe this has given you some inspiration for organising your own desk! One day I will do a proper room tour as a blog post and for one of my youtube videos. (LottieRa2197 - subscribe and i'll love you forever!) Let me know if you have recently organised anything in your rooms, or if you are planning to entirely redecorate anything! I would love to hear it from you!

FOTD - Mother's Day
Hello to you!
Happy Mother's Day/Mothering Sunday, hope you have had a good day whether you're a mum or not. I thought I would do a FOTD post today, but I feel awkward taking pictures of my face so in the picture below, you have my eye.
(My eyebrows look awful here, I know)
The makeup is a bit smudged as I put it on at about 10 this morning, so this is my eye after 6 hours of makeup.

- Eyeliner - Soap & Glory Supercat Eyes

That's all I wore today! I'll probably do a bigger FOTD post soon, but I really need to update my makeup collection first. Thanks for reading! Let me know any post ideas you want to see in the comments :)
