Hello to you!
As you may know, I am currently in year 10 therefore I am currently doing some of my GCSE's. In my school, we started some of our GCSE's last year - weird, I know. So far I have currently done exams and controlled assessments in English, French, Science, History, Art, Hospitality BTEC and Drama. (The reason I only have Hospitality at BTEC is because I did it last year and BTEC was the only option. Catering GCSE is available for people this year and I put it as my first choice, but it was a very popular choice so I am doing Art this year instead...i'm not very good at Art, but it has actually been quite good so far! Anyway, i'm going off topic very quickly. I'm going to give you some tips for mostly 5 core lessons.
English
Now in English, you tend to write essays and controlled assessments. In my past exams I have gotten A's and A*'s, and i'm not quite sure how to be honest! All I can say is if you are allowed a plan (which you are in most essays/controlled assessments), make sure you only use the key things you will need as you cannot make it too detailed. In our school we use PEEE (take a moment to laugh at that), which stands for Point/Evidence/Explanation/Exploration. (*Your main point*...we know this because...this shows...this ALSO shows...etc etc.) Basically just try to make sure your plan is understandable to you! Also in the exam, make sure you make everything detailed and analyzed without going off subject too much. ALWAYS RELATE BACK TO THE QUESTION!
Science
With science, it's pretty straightforward. Make sure you think of key words and learn the definitions, use kerboodle, samlearning, BBC Bitesize...(sorry I realize these websites won't be very useful if you don't live in Britain). I watched a lot of science based youtube videos as they were like tutorials for learning about the specific subject you were stuck on! (I.E. osmosis, velocity and time graphs, organelles, etc) Keep flashcards for writing down equations, make booklets with each specific subject to a page...just write down as much info as you can!
French
For essays and assessments, this is easy. Learn it sentence by sentence. This may sound boring and ridiculously slow, but it works! Take each paragraph and break it down sentence by sentence, and highlight each part you find hard to remember. This means in the exam, you will be able to remember the words you keep forgetting and you will have slowly started to remember the order of sentences! If this doesn't work, think of what you say in English (obviously not long and complicated sentences, keep it simple) and write it down in French! Hey presto, better grades.
History
3 things for history. Structure your draft essay, back up every point with evidence, and always relate what you write back to the question. If you do this with your draft or plan, your grade will increase easily. Just remember, structure/evidence/relate back to question! If you keep that in your mind during the exam, you're sorted!
So I hope you found this useful! If there are any other lessons you need revision tips in, let me know in the comments and I will either update this post or write it up in the comments! Thanks for reading, hope this will help you with your exam revision, and good luck!

MUA Eyeshadow Palette Review - Glamour Days
Hello to you!
I would like to apologise in advance as I am aware the photo quality is shocking here - unfortunately I don't have my camera/iPhone on me right now, so I had to take these pictures with my iPod. I'm sure you'll get the idea of the colours and such anyway!
Today i'm reviewing the MUA 'Glamour Days' Eyeshadow Palette. I bought this a while back for £2 I think, and you can probably tell it's a bit used up! I promise to take some better pictures as soon as I can. I'd like to point out that I am very disorganised and a while back I lost the eyeshadow brush that came with this palette, so I am using a much smaller one in its place. Woops.
I love this eyeshadow palette as it has a mix of bright to neutral colours, and they are all very pigmented. It's really easy to apply and the colours last pretty much throughout the whole day! Very rarely do I find an eyeshadow palette which I will want to buy again, but with MUA, I think it's really good quality for a bargain price!

Although it stays on for most of the day, it is fairly easy to remove which I like. This is really useful because if you change your mind a lot, you can switch between colours really quickly and simply!
Overall, I really like this eyeshadow palette and I will definitely be trying out some more from the MUA collection. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed this quick review! If you like any other products from MUA or want to see another review of their products, let me know in the comments! :)

Why I Am Still Immature...
Well hello to you!
Lovely weather today, isn't it?
Wrong. It's frickin freezing. Anywaaaay, today I realized how immature I actually am.
"Whaaaat," I hear you shout from the back row of the cinema?
Well. I already knew I was immature, but after hearing stories about the 3 year old my mum works with sometimes...I realized how similar to that child. Except from the fact I am 15 years old...oh dear.
WELL the main point of this post wasn't to talk about my similarities to a 3 year old, it's about this:
Why is being immature a bad thing? Technically I am not even an adult until i'm 18 (or 21 for all you sexy Americans out there) and once I am an adult, I can no longer get away with the socially awkward things I do every day! Just to name a few...
LOL

- Tripping over a cone with the same foot about 4 times before falling down
- Attaching spoons to magnets in restaurants
- Walking into doors
- Dancing in the school corridors when you think nobody is watching
- Singing in class
- Making faces at myself in the mirror
Um, yeah. I probably sound like I am 'special' now...would you believe me if I told you I used to be the smartest person in my class?
Didn't think so. I actually was, and I am still in all the top groups in year 10 but I still haven't grown up! Is there something wrong with me? Or do I just act how other people wish they could without being judged? I guess i'll never know. I mean, there are girls in my year with loads of piercings, wear ridiculous footwear and spend hours on their hair, boys that get drunk every weekend and smoke weed, and i'm just sat here like CATS LOL
What is my life though?! I find myself saying this about 40 times in a lesson while scrolling on tumblr under the table and fangirling over Danisnotonfire and Amazingphil in suits. To be honest, I quite like the fact that I am still so immature..I think I get away with it more than most people would because I am small, and easily mistaken for a 12-13 year old. I AM 16 THIS YEAR BUT I STILL CAN'T EVEN GET INTO 15 MOVIES AT THE CINEMA! How depressing.
Does anyone else feel the same way as me? Is anyone else reading this and totally relating? I'm almost 1000% sure I am not the only person who thinks like this.
I would just like to add, even though I am immature I still have those deep philosophical thoughts in my brain about the universe and everything...just because I am immature doesn't mean I am stupid! :)
Hope you liked this post, please let me know if you feel the same way - if you do then HI, join my blog and we can have awesome discussions on this! Ok, this page feels kind of empty so i'll leave you with a cat picture and a quote.

A quick vegetarian recipe!
Ok, I don't normally post recipes and cooking stuff but this is probably the simplest recipe in the whole world. It's a vegetarian tomato sauce for pasta! You could probably use the sauce for other things as well, but I eat a ridiculous amount of pasta so it seemed rather appropriate for this recipe. So this is what you do:
What you need
Tin Chopped tomatoes
Tbsp Tomato Puree
Pinch of Salt
Tsp Herbs
(Tsp Sugar optional)
One Onion (chopped)
Splash of Olive Oil
Salt (This is a herb salt - just being fancy, any kind of salt will do)
Herbs - Basil/Parsley/Rosemary or even black pepper - whatever you have available to you!
Tomato puree - ketchup will do if you don't have any.
A tin of chopped tomatoes!
Garlic or onion - whatever you have or what you prefer :)
Equipment
A pan
A spoon
Knife
Grater
Steps
1. Heat olive oil in pan and add chopped onion. Cook until soft, not burnt.
2. Add chopped tomatoes to pan.
2.5. This isn't necessarily a step, just a good tip. Fill about a quarter of the empty tomato tin with water, swoosh around and add to the tomato sauce. Cleans the tin and adds to the sauce!
2.5a. It doesn't matter if you add a bit too much water - it will evaporate away when you boil it.
3. Add tomato puree/tomato ketchup. About a tablespoonful depending on how much flavour you want to add.
4. Add cup of herbs to sauce.
5. Yum yum yumsies.
6. Add a pinch of salt to sauce.
7. Yum yum yumsies x2.
8. Stir and bring to the boil - once it is boiling, lower the heat and keep it simmering.
9. If you have an electric oven, turn it to about 2. Otherwise, just keep it on a low heat. :)
10. Stir again, and put lid on to make sure the sauce doesn't dry out.
11. Keep the sauce cooking for as long as you like, the longer you leave it the more the flavours will be brought out! I would suggest around 20 minutes if you want the taste but don't want to wait around for ages.
The thing that is great about this recipe is you don't have to worry about timings. Don't rush to put on the pasta or sort things out, just relaaaaaax for as long as you like! When you think the sauce is cooking nicely, cook the pasta and grate some cheese. Once the pasta is cooked, add the sauce and mix until it looks delicious. Sprinkle some cheese on top and BAM you have a simple but delicious meal ready! :)
I love this recipe so much because you barely need any culinary skills to do it ;) I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone, unless you have a tomato allergy...if you do then please don't try this! Also, if you don't wanna hang around waiting for it to cook, this is the best part - you don't have to. Once all the ingredients are together, you can serve it straight away! The only reason you might want to leave it for longer is because some people like all the flavours blended together, but it doesn't really matter that much.
