30 Day Snap #30 | Deep in thought

Hello to you!

So we have reached the finale of the 30 day snap! This is a picture one of my friends took earlier. I think I was probably on tumblr when it was taken! I want to know what I was thinking when this picture was taken, I find these kind of snaps very interesting to look at.

I'm quite sad that the 30 day snap is over, I've been really enjoying it! I have a few blog post ideas coming up soon which I hope you will all enjoy. Thanks for reading!

30 Day Snap #29 | Non Uniform Day - Craziest Outfit!

Hello to you!

Before you start asking questions about the vampire/corpse looking girl on the right, I would like to explain! This is one of my friends Ellen, and she is known for wearing the most over the top stuff for non-uniform days. No one in our year can beat her hilariously crazy outfit ideas, and this year she came in looking like the queen of the vampires! I did have another picture where you can see her lace/spiderweb skirt, but I think I deleted it :( My jumper is from H&M and you probably recognise it as it is one of my favourite jumpers ever! I can't wait to see what mad outfit Ellen will be wearing on our next non uniform day, which will be quite soon! She genuinely looked rather terrifying, and it was so funny to see the teachers' reactions.

I'm impressed that Ellen has the guts to come to school in this kind of wacky stuff!

xo

(p.s - tomorrow is the last day of the 30 day snap *sob* but I will still be trying to do some mini-posts every few days as it has been nice doing this, but it means there will be less pressure to find new pictures every day! I will do one big blog post of every picture used in the 30 day snap series in case you missed any.)

OOTD - Stripes!

Hello to you!

So I have shown these dungarees before in a previous post, and recently I have been l-o-v-i-n-g dungarees! I am trying to do OOTD posts more frequently, so i'll have to stop wearing these so much! Anyway, you can probably see I have dip-dyed my hair pink-y purple too! Not sure the staff at my work experience placement will be too happy with that, but oh well!

Dungarees - Primark
Crop Top - New Look
Tights - I actually borrowed these from one of my cousins who lives in New Zealand when she came down for new year's...I say borrowed, it's been 6 months haha! You can get a pair similiar to these in Primark.
(I love these ones though, they have built in socks at the bottom - perfect for British weather!

I think i'm dressed like a little oompa loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I'm sorry but we needed a cringy mirror selfie in here somewhere! Also you can see the top better :)

Sorry this is such a bad quality picture - I bought this necklace at Urban Outiftters in the sale ages ago! I love it!

Hope you like these fashion-type posts, hopefully I shall be doing a few more over summer! :)

30 Day Snap #28 (catch up!) | Purple Hair

Hello to you!

So I forgot to post this glittersnap yesterday *sob* but I remembered now which is the important thing!

Yesterday I dip dyed my hair pink & purple - it looks more purple in real life, but here was the result! Hope you like :)

(Apologise for the pouting face!)

30 Day Snap #27 | Clutter!

Hello to you!

As you probably already know, I am a very messy person. I can be organised, but I am not exactly the best person at keeping tidy! This is only one part of my room that needs sorting out now. Will I do it soon? Probably not! Yay for procrastination!

30 Day Snap #26 | Glittery Hairbands!

Hello to you!

So I have this really bad habit of pulling all the elastic out of hairbands when they start to break a little bit. Today I got some new hairbands which are slightly smaller so hopefully I will not ruin all of them! Also, I will need to use them at work experience as we need to keep our hair back. I'm going to work at a hospital, not sure if i'm going to be keen on a medical job or not but i'll know after next week I guess! I may do a blog post or two about my time there, but it will be pretty difficult picture-wise because I have to keep my phone off all day when i'm there. *sigh*

(This may give me an oppurtunity for hair/face OTD posts though!)

Can't believe it's almost the end of the 30 day snap, it will be weird not doing little blog posts every day! Hopefully i'll have a few little projects starting up soon though, i'm looking forward to those. :)

30 Day Snap #25 | Coo-oookie Crisp!

Hello to you!

So I know this glittersnap isn't particularly pretty but oh well, I do love me some cereal! I tried Cookie Crisp for the first time EVER a few months ago - I'm not going to lie, I think it was the biggest disappointment for my childhood self. I was expecting it to taste like real cookies, but it takes like normal cereal! Oh well. Still tasty but not as tasty as mini cookies! I'll invent a REAL cookie cereal...one day. *sigh*

(Have you guys ever had any late childhood disappointments? Let me know in the comments!)

30 Day Snap #24 | My Family!

Hello to you!

So this post feels very late, I thought I did a post earlier but apparently not!
I am cheating a little bit as this picture was taken around christmas, but it is very sweet. It is a picture of me and some of my family members staying in Cornwall - now this is only a tiny fraction of my huge family, but it's a great little picture I think! Brings back some great memories.

Hope you like it, and sorry this was so late!

A vintage day at Killerton Gardens | Part 1

Hello to you!

So this is going to be a very looooong blog post with quite a few pictures. I spent the day at Killerton Gardens today as there was a vintage day, and you guys know I'm a sucker for vintage stuff! I took about 150 pictures but I managed to cut them down to about 30. So I am separating the pictures into 2 blog posts so I don't overload you with pictures! :)

This was such a pretty jewellery holder, I would love to have one of these!

Me and Faye putting on our best poses here!
(Heart top from Jane Norman, jeans from New Look)

There were some absolutely gorgeous dresses at this place - I love the collar!

I loved this little picture. :)

Quality Street tin - this is so retro, I love it!

My grandad loves old cars, and I will definitely show him this picture! I'd love to drive round in this :P

Faye pulling her most vintage face apparently!

Polka Dots everywhere! Wouldn't you love to have something like this?

I had to take a picture of this. Didn't realize Nivea had been around for so long! Pretty cool right?

The most gorgeous collection of soaps I think I have ever seen in my life. I could've spent the rest of the day here, I love love love colourful soaps!

So these are all the pictures for now, there will be a part 2 very soon! I had a really nice day (although to put it bluntly, we were all freezing our tits off) and I saw some lovely things :) I only bought 1 thing, shock horror! I bought a little ring with fox ears, it was very cute! You'll see a picture of it very soon.

Although I love spending time on the internet, it was quite nice to spend the day out! Of course I had my phone for taking pictures, but these are the real memories I will remember so I'm glad I did it :) I am very aware that recently I have been saying 'yes' to more and more things which is good! I think I will write a blog post about it sometime...so many blog post ideas swimming round my head! Anyway enough of my ramblings - til tomorrow my blogging chum, where you can join me for day 24 of the 30 day snap!

30 Day Snap #23 | Killerton House Vintage Day!

Hello to you!

So here is a silly glittersnap of me and one of my best friends at Killerton House today. I will be doing a long blog post about this as I took loooaaaads of pictures! I will try to narrow them down for you guys though :) i'll be doing that soon hopefully, will get started on it tonight!

30 Day Snap #21 | Golden Syrup!

Hello to you!

So I just took this glittersnap just now as we are all eating some vegan pancakes, and I liked the bottle...I am a pescetarian, and Mabel is a vegan so she couldn't eat her pancakes with chocolate spread!

30 Day Snap #20 | Silly new socks!

Hello to you!

I don't really have a story for this glittersnap! I wore these new socks to school today, and they definitely attracted some attention. I think they're very sweet, I really like them!

Daily Makeup for Summer + Current Makeup Routine!

Hello to you!

Gosh, I feel like I have been doing so many blog posts recently! I think this lovely weather has given me some inspiration.

So as it is summer here in the UK, I felt like I should update you guys on my daily makeup.

Usually I wear a lot of eyeliner to make my eyes stand out, but recently I have been trying to avoid the eyeliner and stick to a slightly sunnier look! Here are the pictures of the products I am currently using:

These products are very...'well loved' as you can probably tell!

Left to right -

Lip balm from local company DreamThyme
Miss Sporty 'So Clear' Coverstick in 01
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium 3 (I was supposed to buy it in light...whoops!)
Collection Blush in 02 Bashful
MUA 'Heaven and Earth' Eyeshadow Palette
Collection Pressed Powder
Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser
17 Powder Brush
Superdrug Own Blush Brush (I had no money and needed brushes, don't judge me for being cheap ok)

Okey dokey, so that's all I've been using recently! Let me talk you through my makeup routine:

After washing my face and doing normal skincare-y type stuff, I moisturize my face. If I don't have time to let it sink into my skin, I will rub it in my face quite vigorously so my face doesn't end up looking shiny all day! Then I apply Miss Sporty's So Clear Coverstick under my eyes, and Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer on any blemishes/scars/redness I have and down the bridge of my nose. I don't use the Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes because it is slightly too dark and I can end up looking a bit orange!
I use it on the rest of my face for blemishes because it has a really good coverage. I don't use any foundation because during summer you can feel like your face is melting off, and I feel like after applying concealer I don't really need any foundation during summer!
Then I use Collection's Pressed Powder, and I try not to use too much because you don't want to look too cakey with powder. It can leave your skin looking really dry if you overuse it! Then I apply a very small amount of blusher to the apples of my cheeks and BAM, skin makeup done! Moving onto eyes!

Using MUA's Heaven and Earth palette, I apply a light brown-y colour across my eyelid. (Bottom row, second across in picture). Then I use the lightest colour for my inner corners, and I use a small amount of a slightly darker colour on the outer part of my eyelid. It is only slightly darker than the colour I originally used as I want to look natural and summery, not overly dramatic! Once I have done this, I apply 2-3 coats of mascara and add some lip balm, then I'm set for the day.

Hope you enjoyed this post, it was 2 for the price of 1 really haha! If you want to see a review of any of these products or want to see more posts like this, let me know in the comments! (Also, I have been considering doing this for one of my youtube videos...yes/no? Not quite sure whether I should do beauty videos as well or stick to my regular videos!) Thanks for reading :)

30 Day Snap #19 | Chalk Balloons

Hello to you!

So this glittersnap is actually a picture from last saturday when I had a sleepover with Mabel and Avi. Avi has an amazing camera and the weather was nice, so we decided to think back to our primary school days and created a chalk world on the pavement! Currently there is scaffolding on Mabel's house so Avi could take this picture from the top of the house. (The camera was zoomed in for this shot so we could get a better picture!)

I love this picture and I would definitely suggest going out and buying some chalk to create something like this yourselves! Hope you're having a lovely day :)

30 Day Snap #18 | Memory Board

Hello to you!

So this is a glittersnap I took of my wall yesterday. It has pictures of my family, brthday cards, spice girl CD pictures, and even my latest addition - a picture of Tyler Oakley! As you probably already know, that picture was featured on one of my post that Tyler reblogged and it currently has over 4000 notes! I feel like I have a tumblr-famous picture in my room ;)

Do you guys have pictures like this in your room? Let me know in the comments!

P.S check out the post that Tyler reblogged here: http://lottie-hulahoops.tumblr.com/post/53200443710/tyleroakley-lottie-hulahoops-so-yesterday-i

New Look Favourites - Tops

Hello to you!

So I know I did a New Look Favourites post yesterday, but it was really fun to do as I felt I haven't blogged about fashion in ages! Today's post is going to be centred around tops, because I love buying different shirts! I think this is because I have been traumatised while shopping for jeans when I was younger as they never fit me properly - I hated going shopping for jeans/trousers when I was younger! Even now I still prefer buying leggings and shorts as a safer option, but I do love buying tops the most. Anyway, enough about my traumatic fashion experiences - on with the post!

I love this aztec-style crop top because it is simple but so pretty! And I adore crop tops at the moment, they are great for summer - well when the weather's nice anyway! I would love to buy this as I think it is really cute, and you could wear it almost anywhere if you style it right! Personally I would probably wear this with shorts and tights or knee high socks. Maybe a brightly coloured necklace too! Buy HERE for £6.99.

Now I know this is another crop top but I adore this one! I like how the design is minimal but the top still looks girly because of the flowers. It would look nice with any colour because it won't clash! I would wear this tucked in to a high waisted skater skirt, with some dark tights. Buy HERE for £9.99.

I really like this top because it stands out, and I can totally imagine one of the girl's from Little Mix wearing this! It is really bold, but you could play it down if you wanted a more casual look. I would wear this with either a skater skirt or disco pants, as I think the outfit would look great with either of those choices! Buy HERE for £6.99.

This top is perfect for festivals, and I love that tie dye has come back into fashion! Although it seems very 'hipster/mainstream', I remember wearing tie dye tops when I was a lot younger at the festivals I went to! (Hardcore child right there) - I would wear this with a floaty mini skirt tucked in to jazz up the outfit a bit, or just wear it with some skinny jeans and a statement necklace. Buy HERE for £9.99! (Also available in blue)

So that was slightly shorter than the last fashion post, but I hope you enjoyed in anyway! I have so many blog ideas floating around my head right now, very excited! Also, my blog is currently under construction as I am changing some of the designs around so if it looks a bit different, don't worry! Soon it will be finished.

Thanks for reading!

30 Day Snap #17 | My Tyler Oakley post!!!

Hello to you!

So today's glittersnap is not an actual picture, but a screenshot.

You guys probably already know that I am a HUGE youtuber fan, and I adore Tyler Oakley! On tumblr he has liked 5 of my posts before and today I posted a picture of this:

As we had to bring a picture of a celebrity into school so we could analyse their face! That sounds really weird, but oh well. I put this picture on tumblr and I wrote 'Tyler Oakley' in the tags so he could see it, and maybe like it!

BUT NO. He actually reblogged this and left a comment himself! I flipped out, and I released my inner fangirl way too much - A.K.A I was crying and rolling around on my kitchen floor for 40 minutes. It has just hit 2500 notes, and the numbers keep rising! Look at what he said below:

(I know I screenshot this at 2400)

This has literally made my entire year and I am so so so happy! Here is a link to the original post:

http://lottie-hulahoops.tumblr.com/post/53200443710/tyleroakley-lottie-hulahoops-so-yesterday-i

Anyway, I know this wasn't a regular Glittersnap but this was the highlight of
my day!!!

New Look Favourites - Dresses/Skirts

Hello to you!

So this blog is meant to be about beauty, fashion and lifestyle but recently I feel like it's been lacking the fashion side of things! I've decided to make up for it with a post about some of the clothes I have seen on the New Look website and app recently. Hope you enjoy!

I think this dress is really nice and summery, and I love the pattern! I don't really think it would suit my body shape so I would be a bit wary of buying it, but it looks really pretty! I would love to wear this with some simple sandals, and maybe with a satchel type of bag. It looks like great beachwear! Buy HERE for only £7.99.

I'm not going to lie, when I first saw this I thought it looked like a bin bag. Recently I have seen a lot of 'facebook famous' people post pictures of themselves wearing skirts like this, and they don't actually look to bad. The picture does not make it look very flattering at all, but it would be great to wear at festivals with a cropped top and bright tights! Buy HERE for £9.99.

I love the look of this dress, it is so cool! I think you could easily dress this up or down depending on your mood. It is a great casual dress, but it will definitely make an impression! I really want to buy this and wear it with some purple tights, I think it would look really great. Buy HERE for £12.99.

I think this dress is really nice because it is so simple, you can pretty much do anything with it. I like to think that you would build around this piece, because it is like a blank canvas! There are so many ways you can style dresses like these, I think it is a 'wardrobe must-have' (cringiest saying ever)! You could wear this with anything and everything, and it's a bargain price! Buy HERE for only £9.99.

This is definitely not something I would normally wear, but I think it would be perfect for festivals! Although it has a slight cowgirl feel about it, the material of the skirt looks really floaty and lovely. I'm not overly keen on the belt, but I think it goes well with the skirt. I would probably wear this with a tank top and some wedges, because I am very short so the skirt would probably be too long for me! Buy HERE for £14.99.

When I saw this on the website, I really like it because I think the belt gives the dress a nice shape and it would suit loads of different body types! I think this dress could be great for a lot of places, such as going to town with friends, a family dinner, a party, the beach...there are many different ways you could dress it up! This would look great with a statement necklace. Buy HERE for £17.99.

Phew! That is all for now. Let me know if you like these fashion style posts, maybe I will do some more from the New Look website another time. Hope you liked it, I am still doing the 30 Day Snap which I hope you have been enjoying! Leave a comment if you would like to see another post like this, or let me know which dress/skirt you liked the most!

(I just want to quickly mention again, Google Friend Connect is stopping so if you want to keep updated with my blog, please follow me on Bloglovin! (Click here) I would really appreciate it! :)
