So this glittersnap is not particularly pretty, but it pretty much sums up the events of today. When I got home from school, me and my best friend Mabel decided to make some pancakes. Before we made them (brace yourselves for story time), we decided to eat some melon as it was almost(!) out of date! After I cut it into quarters with a meat cleaver, Mabel decided to add some food colouring...moving on swiftly. 1 pancake stack of nutella, banana and cinammon later, we were left with a melon-y mess on the chopping board. As I was about to eat the amazing bonanza pancake, I asked Mabel to put the melon remainders (we left quite a lot so it was probably over 3/4 of a melon anyway) in the bin as we were not going to eat it. And then *dramatic pause* it happened. One piece of melon slid off the chopping board onto the floor. Suddenly the remaining 3 quarters slid off along with the chopping board. About a million pips flew everywhere (slight exaggeration...?! I'm not quite sure) And Mabel had a laughing fit before attempting to clean the 1 million pips off the floor.
Anyway, back to the glittersnap, this is the picture of the pancake bonzanza! (Mabel likes to refer to this as the Melon Murderer)...I hope you enjoyed story time, although it was slightly mad! I hope you like the look of the pancake too :) I am aware it is green, we added food colouring to the last pancake! See ya tomorrow for day 8!
